How to pick a color from an image
Upload a photo, screenshot, or design mockup using the box above, then move your cursor over any part of the image. A circular magnifier will follow your pointer, zooming into the exact pixels underneath it so you can see precisely which shade you're about to select, even in busy or low-contrast areas of a photo. Click once to lock in that pixel's color, and its hex, RGB, and HSL values will appear instantly in the panel on the right, ready to copy into your design tool, CSS file, or brand palette.
Why picking colors directly from images matters
Matching a color by eye rarely produces an accurate result, since screens, lighting, and surrounding colors all influence how a shade appears to the human eye. Sampling the actual pixel value guarantees you get the precise color a designer, photographer, or brand actually used, which matters whether you're matching a logo color pulled from a photo, building a palette from a piece of art you love, or making sure a UI element matches a brand asset exactly.
